The Visi-Jet is an important component of a total filtration system. Organic wastes are removed before being broken down by bacteria, reducing levels of nitrate and phosphate. Pre-filtered water is drawn into an impeller chamber creating a froth of micro-bubbles which skim organic material from the water, then force it into an easy-to-clean collection receptacle. Remaining oxygen-rich water is directed out into the aquarium.
